 Global Supply Chain Manager 100% (f/m/d)

The Global Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the logistics services for 4D Pharma, an affiliate of Bacthera group and commercial production. Responsibilities also include product management, cold chain product management as well as creating, implementing and optimizing processes. The Supply Chain Manager represents his/her work area in audits and processes deviations in Track Wise. The Global Supply Chain Manager is responsible for standardizing and optimizing all warehouse processes to ensure proper product storage, transportation and distribution to optimize time and cost.

My main tasks will be…

  • Ensure the supply of materials, raw materials and products for development in accordance with GDP (Good Distribution Practices).
  • Purchase and manage materials and raw materials taking into account the needs of the business and subcontracted companies.
  • Manage the supply and shipment of raw materials, APIs, products and samples.
  • Organize all shipments of raw materials, APIs and intermediate products.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the refrigeration chain in shipments, when necessary.
  • Coordinate supply and share information with subsidiary companies and subcontracted companies to ensure that the entire pharmaceutical supply chain is under control.
  • Ensure that the timelines established are adequate for the projects to be carried out.
  • Provides information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials to internal departments, such as development, production and quality.
  • Ensure that the carrier is approved, when necessary.
  • Ensure that shipment documentation is provided and complete. Share this documentation with quality: safety flanges, temperature records, acknowledgements of receipt…
  • Control the stock level of products obtained at the various stages of the production process.
  • Reduce the environmental impact of new developments, equipment and operations under your responsibility

I bring with me…

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, international business, economics, science, or transportation.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar position in supply chain, production or quality.
  • High knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Excel.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP, Business Central).
  • C1 level of English (written and spoken) and B2-C1 Level of Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
